Does Smilesaver taste good?

Smilesaver® has a great tasting, natural spearmint flavor and provides a fresh, minty taste that everyone really enjoys.


How often can I use Smilesaver®?

Use it as often as necessary! Our sprays are packaged in 1 oz. bottles for at home and on-the-go use.


Are there any potential side effects from using Smilesaver®?

None. The ingredients are widely used in foods and cosmetics. Smilesaver® is the only available cleansing and freshening spray that has FDA approved GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) naturally derived ingredients.


What if I swallow the solution?

If you swallow some of the spray solution after spraying your appliance, it is safe to ingest based upon the FDA’s safety classification of all of its ingredients.


Why is protection against bacteria necessary?

It is necessary to protect against potentially harmful bacteria in the biofilm that builds up on the surface of removable oral appliances, such as clear aligners, retainers, night guards, and sports mouth guards.


Is xylitol a safe ingredient?

Xylitol is as sweet as sugar, but with 33% less calories. Xylitol has no aftertaste and is safe for diabetics and individuals with hyperglycemia. Xylitol has no known toxicity or carcinogenicity. Xylitol has also been approved as a food additive for foods for individuals with special dietary needs.


Where is Smilesaver® produced?

Our manufacturing facility, located in Sarasota, FL is an FDA registered facility for the manufacture of Medical Devices, including Smilesaver, and is compliant with FDA guidelines for Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP).
